Route description to SCM office

We refer to the VU information, with useful maps, on how to reach us: route description.

SCM is located between numbers 4 and 5 on the first map. The fastest route used to be via the back entrance at the A.J. Ernststraat, but nowadays this requires a pass to enter the building. For that reason it is better, if you come by public transport, to start from tram stop VU / De Boelelaan and enter at the number 4 indicated on the map, entrance 1081.

If you come by car, there is paid parking all around the VU. The A.J. Ernststraat is closest to SCM and least expensive, but you need to give us a phone call when you arrive, so we can open the back entrance for you (first one counting from the tram stop).

SCM is located in the R1-corridor of the Theoretical Chemistry group. Take the stairs to the first floor, the corridors are alphabetically ordered.

If you get lost

Outside the VU, ask people how to get to (i) Amsterdam Zuid/WTC train station (ii) tram stop "VU / De Boelelaan". Inside the VU, ask for the science building, and then for room R1.39, or the R1-corridor. Call us (within Amsterdam) at 5987626 or 5987625 if you are really lost.
