Step 4. Save and view the protein in solvent

We will NOT run this set up. It will take a lot of time. Just to see the protein in solvent, we will save the current set up:

Save your setup (use the File/Save command)

This saves your input, creates the run script (.run), and also creates a new pdb file containing the original pdb file together with the added solvent. This new pdb file will be named 1BXU.p2a.pdb. To view it, restart ADFinput with this file:

Quit ADFinput (File / Quit)
Start ADFinput, specifying the pdb file to view:

adfinput 1BXU.p2a.pdb

After having a look at the solvent, quit ADFinput again
