BAND

The BAND code now includes the Time-Dependent DFT code from the Groningen group, which enables the calculation of frequency-dependent dielectric functions for one-dimensional and three-dimensional systems. BAND further contains confinement and distance cutoff options. These help to make large BAND calculations significantly faster and reduce the amount of I/O. The confinement option can further help to prevent problems with linear dependency in large basis sets.
