BAND Graphical User Interface (BAND-GUI)

ADF2006.01 is the first ADF release containing a graphical user interface for BAND.

BANDinput enables also inexperienced ADF-BAND users to easily create BAND jobs. You can use BANDinput to define your periodic structure (geometry), and to set details of your BAND job using an easy-to-use graphical user interface. BANDinput will generate the complete job script for you. This script takes care of running BAND. You can also use BANDinput to run these script files on your local machine in the background. BANDinput is very similar to ADFinput.

ADFview displays volume data, such as the electron deformation density and orbitals using the BAND .runkf file. (ADFview is also used in the ADF-GUI).

BANDstructure shows a plot of the electronic band structure.

ADFtail shows the progress of a BAND (and ADF) calculation.

BOB shoes the output generated by BAND (and ADF).
