Step 2: Building an ethanol molecule

In the first part of this tutorial you learned how to build an ethanol molecule. Here, we will do this again, but this time using the structures building tool. To start, we first need to build a methane molecule:

 
Select the C-tool
Click somewhere in the drawing area to make a carbon atom 
Select Edit → Add Hydrogen , or faster: press the shortcut (Control-H or Command-H)

Now, we are ready to start using the structures.
