Forces and numerical frequencies are now available for self-consistent calculations with some meta-GGA xc functionals (TPSS and M06-L), and meta-hybrids (TSSh, M06, M06-2X, M06-HF). This can be used to study potential energy surfaces (geometry optimization, TS, IRC, LT, numerical frequencies). Note that an accurate integration may be needed for the M06 functionals, thereby increasing the calculation time.
