The distributed SGI version has been generated under IRIX6.2. The executables will also run under IRIX6.5 but you MUST NOT COMPILE the IRIX6.2 version on a IRIX6.5 system. The included object files from IRIX6.2 will not combine correctly with the objects generated on your IRIX6.5 and in some cases the program will crash and in others, worse, it will simply produce wrong results!
