Platform Specific Information
The following table displays the platforms,
compilers and PVM version that we have
used to prepare the executables and object libraries.
Other versions (especially older ones) are not guaranteed
to work with this release of
the ADF package.
Please contact us (support@scm.com) if you have problems with your platform.
If you have the Source files and intend to compile the codes yourself, the installation procedure will also use a few object files that we have precompiled for you (these are contained in the Install files). Therefore, your compiler must match the one we've been using.
- Mac OSX: Source code and installation files for Mac OS X are not yet available.
- IBM: The MPI distribution for IBM contains serial executables for the programs
which operate in serial mode only.
This has been done to avoid problems with the POE environment used by IBM.
If you wish to compile yourself, this should be taken into account. Contact us for details.
