Dear Sirs
I am trying to compile BAND 1.0 under linux RedHat 5.1 (glibc2, g77)
and all goes OK until linking executbles. Errors (lacking modules
in object Install/pentium_linux/ctc.o) are as follows:
----------
/home/evaldera/b/Install/pentium_linux/ctc.o: In function `my_gdn':
/home/evaldera/b/Install/pentium_linux/ctc.o(.text+0x8aa): undefined
reference to `res_search'
/home/evaldera/b/Install/pentium_linux/ctc.o(.text+0x8dc): undefined
reference to `_getshort'
/home/evaldera/b/Install/pentium_linux/ctc.o(.text+0x8fd): undefined
reference to `_getshort'
-----------
Since this may be related to the libc used with RedHat 5.1,
(e.g. object code ctc.o was created for former version of libc)
my question is, is there any object file ctc.o
(and possible others in dir pentium_linux/ ) linked against glic6
so that we could link properly the executables? Thanks in advance
Best regards,
Elmer
