A PostDoc position is available in the
Laboratory of Material Design by Computer Simulation, Institute for
Materials
Research, Tohoku University, under the supervision of Prof. Yoshiyuki
Kawazoe.

This laboratory is working to establish a new paradigm of materials
design.
Currently, both first-principles and model simulations based on
theoretical solid
state physics and Statistical physics are performed. It is our final aim
to unify the
numerical simulations and the factual database into an expert system.

The start date is September 1, 2000 and the award is open ONLY to
suitably qualified USA (or who has Green card) candidates.

Actually, Today (January 24) is deadline to application but we can wait
one or two days.
