The ANU has now extended the closing time on the following previously
advertised position to April 28, 2000:
Applications are invited for an ARC-funded postdoctoral position in
Computational Chemistry, in the Department of Chemistry at the Australian
National University. The successful applicant will be involved in modelling
the structure, reactivity and magnetic properties of inorganic and
bioinorganic transition-metal systems. Experience in density functional
and/or ab initio molecular-orbital methods would be an advantage.
The position is for one year in the first instance with possible extension
for a further year. The salary range is $43,467 - $46,514 pa (Aust) the
precise level depending on the successful applicants' academic experience
and/or merit.
