Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position in the
computational inorganic chemistry group at the University of York. The
group's research is focussed on the study of the structure and
reactivity of transition metal-based complexes, with a particular
emphasis on the chemistry of polymetallic clusters. The successful
applicant will work in the area of metal-metal bonding in transition
metal cluster.
The current post, funded by the EPSRC, is for a fixed term of one year,
and is available from 1 August 2000. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in
computational inorganic chemistry. Experience with both ADF and Gaussian
packages is desirable. The starting salary will be in range £16286 to
£18185 per annum, depending on experience. Initial enquiries should be
