Dear users,

A few days ago Ewald Pauwels had submitted us a problem he encountered
optimizing a cluster (CIO_ERROR cio_llwrite: lseek failed
(TAPE14,fd=7,rec=524288), CIO_ERROR cio_llwrite: lseek failed
(TAPE10,fd=6,rec=1)). It seems like no answer was given, but I would like to
bother again with a similar problem I had using the response and excitation
functionality with 1000 valence basis functions. Here is the error message I
got :

with ADF99 version on IBM RISC System/6000

****************************************************************************
***
ADF EXIT called
  CIO_ERROR cio_llwrite: write failed (TAPE11,fd=11,rec=256000)

with ADF2000 version on SUN machine

****************************************************************************
***
ADF EXIT called
  CIO_ERROR cio_llwrite: lseek failed (TAPE10,fd=7,rec=747280)

Does anyone knows how to solve the problem ?

Thanks a lot,

Karine COSTUAS
