Hello all,

I have a question about relative performance of ADF. An academic contact
planning to use ADF has expressed interest in a relatively old IBM RISC 560
workstation. However, I am not sure that using this (approximately eight
years old) workstation will give better performance than a new upmarket
Pentium III PC (running Linux). I have no personal experience with ADF on
Pentium. Is there anybody out there who has and can compare the performance
of the two different systems (just qualitatively will be fine)? I'd be truly
grateful.
