The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin is searching for
a new Computer Systems Manager. This person is primarily responsible for
the managing and administering the computing network that supports the
research and teaching needs of the departments' graduate students, faculty
and instructional/research staff. We recently have received funding from
the NSF for updating the computer infrastructure of the Department. The new
computer system manager will be involved in the immediate planning and
implementation of this project. Overall, we seek a person with excellent
hardware and systems management expertise. Chemistry experience is
desirable but not essential.
