   Two Post-doctoral positions are available in computational transition metal
chemistry

   The successful candidates will be involved in

    - The development of methods based on ab initio molecular dynamics
combined
        with molecular mechanics for the simulation of elementary reaction
        steps and solvation effects

    - The development of methods based on DFT/TD-DFT and ADF to study
magnetic properties or/and
        develop new functionals that can treat multiplets accurately

 Requirements: PhD in Theoretical Chemistry or Computational Physics.
               Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation
               of electronic structure codes as well as experience with
               chemical modeling.
               

 Particulars: The position is for one year with the possible extension for
               another.
               The salary is $ 31,000 (CDN) + benefits (health care etc.).
               The position will be available from January 1, 2002.
