Research Group in
Molecular Modeling and Quantum Molecular Methodology (M4)
Institute of Computational Chemistry
University of Girona, Catalonia, Spain
The Spanish Ministery of Educations has just launched a program to
provide postdoctoral contracts to research groups. Our Group is
interested in obtaining contracts and to hire postdocs who are willing
to work in either of two research topics:
(1) Theoretical study and metodological developments of new materials
exhibiting specific Nonlinear Optical Properties
(2) Theoretical organometallic and bioinorganic chemistry:
Activation of C-H and molecular O2 by transition metals.
Anyone interested in becoming part of our Research Group is encouraged
to contact us.
DETAILS:
Citizenship: Spanish/European Union, however there is no actual
restriction.
Post: Five-year contract. Possibility of tenure-track or long-term
contract.
Requirements: Ph.D. in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry or related
field.
Our Research Group: A 15-people team working in
theoretical and computational chemistry. 3 University
professors, 5 postdocs, 5 graduate students. Ca. 150 publications in the
last 8 years.
Our full list of publications may be found at
