Hello everybody.
We have encounter some very strange problem with multi-node ADF 2004 setup.
Each and every node could run ADF locally without any problems.
All the environment variables are set up Ok (they are the same on all
nodes).
As soon as we request a multi-node run programs hang up and gives an
"missing kid process " notice after a while. When we try to redirect an
output of adfs on remote node to the text file it appears to be a
standard output of adf missing license file. But for some reason license
file is expected to be in the place described by $licence variable.
Defining this variable did not help.
It appears like master adf passes a wrong argument to the kid process.
As for the technical information, we are using Fedora 3 Linux boxes with
2 processors.
ADF is PVM flavor and PVM works Ok on all the nodes.
ADF was installed from precompiled binary packages.
Did anybody experienced anything like that before?
Thank you for your time. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Ilia
