Topic: GUI - run kicks out after element creation

LinkPost TimeAuthorMessage Excerpt
26021 Jul 2006, 08:07 PM CESTpdalachI followed the ADF-GUI tutorial and hit RUN. The popup showed normal element creation and then it says that the job is done but if never actually performs the optimization. If I run command line $ethanol.run, I get the following (minus the asterisks):

It seems that [at least] one of the processes that was started with
mpirun did not invoke MPI_INIT before quitting (it is possible that
more than one process did not invoke MPI_INIT -- mpirun was only
notified of the first one, which was on node n0).

mpirun can *only* be used with MPI programs (i.e., programs that
invoke MPI_INIT and MPI_FINALIZE). You can use the "lamexec" program
to run non-MPI programs over the lambooted nodes.

I've been running non-GUI ADF2006 fine with MPI, and I've also resignedly just run another lamboot to be sure. I also already run a single point run, with the same result. Additionally, I tried to assign atoms to already created fragments, but it goes through creation of the atoms anyways without running the actual task. Any help would be very welcome.

Thanks,
Paul - Northwestern University
