A complete, cross-platform solution to record, convert and stream audio and video.

The ADF-GUI uses ffmpeg (by invoking the external binary) to save movies.

The ffmpeg.exe binary is located in the $AMSBIN folder, you can use other version by setting the SCM_FFMPEG environment variable. The binaries included are taken from the ffmpeg web site, version 4.2.1 (Nov 2019) without modification.

FFmpeg is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 2.1 or later. However, FFmpeg incorporates several optional parts and optimizations that are covered by the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later. If those parts get used the GPL applies to all of FFmpeg.
