USA tour August 2014: ACS, Seminars and Workshop

In August, SCM will be at the ACS meeting in San Francisco and giving seminars at the University of Minnesota, Oak Ridge National Lab, Michigan State University (with workshop) and Rutgers University Newark. Seize these opportunities to learn about the upcoming 2014 release of the ADF modeling suite.


ACS meeting San Francisco

Pablo Ramos (Pavanello group) and Fedor will be representing SCM at the ACS meeting in San Francisco. Come and learn about the upcoming 2014 release of the ADF modeling suite at the exhibition in booth 1424, 10-12 August. Let us know if you need a free expo pass.

ADF modeling suite seminars

Surrounding the ACS meeting, seminars will be given at the University of Minnesota (Fri 8 August, 2-3pm, flyer), Oak Ridge National Lab (Thu 14 August, 1-2pm, flyer) and Rutgers Newark (Mon 18 August, 11.30am-12.30pm, flyer).

There is ample time before the seminars to talk about the ADF modeling suite in more detail, just let Fedor know if you want to schedule some discussion time.

Material Science with the ADF Modeling Suite workshop

On Friday 15 August, Fedor will give a workshop focused on materials modeling at the engineering department of Michigan State University (flyer).

Bring a laptop, so that after the introductory seminar you can install the ADF modeling suite and get started straight away with hands-on examples. The demo license will be valid for 2 months, to further evaluate after the workshop.
