UK academics interestd in learning ADF and ReaxFF, are encourage to sign up for a 2-day workshop (London, 8+9 April) at the NSCCS website to particpate.
Most SCM staff will be away from mail during the Christmas break from December 20th to January 6th. Hence, we can only deal with urgent purchase orders, license problems, price quotes and other enquiries, but not with technical support. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2014!
The SCM team has been extended by the addition of four EU-funded positions. Three PhD students will develop AIMD methods for ground and excited states and one post-doc will develop electronic transport methods for 2D nanoelectronics.
The job opening for an allround scientific software developer has been filled. Consider applying for a H2020 Marie Curie fellowship if you want to work for SCM.
SCM and SARA will investigate GPU-acceleration (ADF, ReaxFF) cloud-based HPC solutions
ADF users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest subrelease, ADF2013.01b. There are various performance improvements and bug fixes.
