Bring your materials science challenges to MRS Spring 2026 in Honolulu

Ams battery modeling explainer

We’re excited to join the MRS Spring 2026 Meeting in Boston, where the global materials community gathers to discuss the latest breakthroughs and collaborations in materials science. Dr. Nicolas Onofrio will discuss how advanced workflows with recent charge-aware machine learned potentials give insight in solid-electrolyte chemistry, which can aid in understanding and improving the stability of electrodes. He’s also happy to give you a tour of our Amsterdam Modeling Suite (AMS) 2026 release, with the latest ML interatomic potential foundation models and the user-friendly interface for Bumblebee for device-level modeling of OLEDs.

🗓 April 26–28, 2026

Exhibit Dates & Hours

  • Sunday April 26 — 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Monday, April 27 — 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Tuesday, April 28 — 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Nicolas will be ready to discuss your simulation challenges and how AMS can support your R&D, whether you focus on atomistic design, multi-scale modeling, or AI-assisted materials discovery in different advanced materials areas including catalysis, semiconductors, polymers, and battery materials.

Presentation

  • Symposium: EN04.19.05:  Electrode Modeling and Characterization
  • Title: : From Electrons to Electrodes: Computational Insights into Electrolyte Decomposition and Reactivity
  • Presenter: Nicolas Onofrio
  • Date: Friday, May 1
  • Time: 11am

Learn how specialized workflows and automated high-throughput calculations in AMS push battery materials research forward by understanding and predicting SEI formation and battery performance.

Whether you are designing materials for sustainability or performance, we’d love to talk through your goals and show how the Amsterdam Modeling Suite can help you get there faster.
