ADF workshop with SARA, November 8, 2010
On November 8, SCM and SARA (the Dutch national High Performance Computing and e-Science support center) held a free one-day ADF workshop for ADF users and potential users. With the attendance of about 40 individuals, the workshop room was filled nearly to capacity with attendees from the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe. Most of the SCM staff members were on hand to help the new users learn to use ADF and help the expert users more fully exploit its capabilities, including the ability of the ADF graphical user interface to setup calculations and run them remotely on SARA’s computing clusters.
We extend a special thank-you to the staff at SARA for hosting the event, and we looks forward to the possibility of hosting similar workshops in the future, both here and abroad.
